For more than five decades, the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg Summer Festival has been more than a place for family fun. Held each August at the LVH-Muhlenberg campus on Schoenersville Road in Bethlehem, PA, the festival is one of the hospital’s largest fundraisers and one of the community’s longest-running traditions.

As event organizers celebrated the festival’s 54th festival, it was again the people of our community who made it such an enormous success. The Summer Festival continues a tradition of family fun and maintains an important purpose, to raise funds that will help save, change and improve the lives of our patients at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg. The 54th annual Summer Festival held in August 2015, raised more than $200,000 in sponsorships and festival proceeds.

The festival is organized and run completely by a group of volunteers, and in its robust history more than $3 million dollars has been raised to support patient care services at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Each year, more than 300 dedicated hospital volunteers, auxiliary members and employees give their time to create an event that is a treat for the whole family.
